Meet the owner:

Hi – I’m Erin Menut, MA, E-RYT500, owner of Sunnybrook Wellness. I’ve been a teacher or mindful movement since 1995. After a car accident in 2007, I realized I needed a practice that would strengthen my core to help me heal and avoid further injury.

Discovering Pilates Reformer was the missing piece in my journey. I’m thrilled that you’re here, and I know that no matter where you are in YOUR journey, Reformer Pilates can help. It has improved my posture tremendously, and my knees and my back are MUCH stronger! Reformer Pilates is a great way to build core strength – and it improves your alignment while you work out.

At Sunnybrook Wellness, we know that you want to be a fit and active person – so you can enjoy a long and healthy life. In order to do that, you must eat well, stay hydrated, and exercise regularly. The problem is, many forms of exercise are repetitive and rough on the joints, particularly the knees and ankles. Others are high intensity, expensive, or require you to do poses that you’re not ready for. Gyms can feel intimidating, and let’s face it, the ambiance is rarely great. This can make you feel discouraged or burnt out. It’s hard to find the motivation to exercise on your own, even though you know you should.

At Sunnybrook Wellness. we believe exercise should be safe and accessible to everyone. We understand how intimidating it can feel to start a new exercise program. That’s why we encourage you to try out Pilates Reformer first with a private, one-on-one intro. This allows you to explore the practice at your own pace and ask any questions you may have, Your safety and well-being are of utmost importance to us. That’s why we maintain a friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere where everyone is welcome, regardless of age, fitness level or body type.
